Hi! I'm Rafael Martínez. When I started practicing aerial yoga, one of the aspects that stimulated me the most and that motivated me to create the AeroYoga® method was the practice in the open air. I had been practicing outdoor yoga for years. There is no greater pleasure than feeling the fresh country air or the sea in the lungs while practicing pranayama and when internal organs are stimulated with exercises and asanas in the middle of nature. This was the basis of my Creative Yoga that in turn gave rise to AeroYoga®.
Videohttps://youtu.be/YGRYNyBswTk Body, mind, breath and energy are the 4 bases and tools of Natha Yoga and Creative Yoga that are the source of AeroYoga®. Practicing AeroYoga® outdoors allows us to connect these 4 tools to each other, favoring an incredible state of fullness that we can all enjoy whatever our level and condition. AeroYoga® is for everyone, walking, enjoying the countryside, the Mountain and the beach is for everyone because it connects us with the environment and the universe. On the other hand, the practice of AeroYoga® in nature makes us feel part of it and strengthen body, mind, breathing and energy in pure synergy. We love yoga! This is because in addition to being the fashion exercise, it brings numerous benefits to our health. In this case, we will meet those of AeroYoga® by Rafael Martinez, a type of discipline very fun and healthy. What is aeroyoga? Aeroyoga is also known as aerial yoga, air yoga or fly yoga. AeroYoga® is the only method that comprises three variants since its inception, aerial yoga, aerial pilates and aerial fitness. It consists of combining the practice of Yoga with acrobatic movements, Pilates exercises and dance. It is done with the body in suspension thanks to the use of a kind of "swing" or Hammock of fabric held from the ceiling. Look at the video here youtu.be/uYGXbhd5KEc
Benefits of aerial yoga First of all, you don't have to be an expert to practice it. In addition, specialized centers adapt to the pace of each student. Strengthens the abs. One of the great benefits of aeroyoga is that the muscles are worked without forcing the postures and without damaging the spine. In this case, in addition, the abdominals are reinforced through acrobatics and balance exercises. Improves circulation problems, due to the effect of lymphatic drainage, which occurs when the legs are elevated on the swing. In this way, cellulite and other circulatory problems decrease. Fight stress. As in the practice of classical yoga, stress and anxiety levels decrease, favoring concentration and body-mind balance. Relieves back pain. Improves posture and mobility of the spine. Tone and redefine the silhouette. Reactivate the respiratory system. It's fun. Thanks to the realization of inverted postures and acrobatics, it is an exercise that makes whoever practices it out of the routine. Stimulates creative ability and mental clarity. Strengthens the joints. It has great anti-aging power. It helps to maintain total control of our body, to know us better and to know our limitations. Before an injury, it is a good rehabilitation technique, since it returns to the muscles its normal state. It is a good ally to lose weight. A suspension of about 50 minutes, can burn an amount equal to or greater than 320 kcal to 500 kcal. So, you know, an excellent practice to have a much healthier and, of course, healthy life.
Hello! I'm Rafael Martinez, director of AeroYoga® International. Today I present an exercise that unites body work, psychomotricity and lots of fun. Look at the video here https://youtu.be/aLRw99TH8PA
It is about the position of the "caterpillar". To execute it we need the AeroYoga® swings, it is necessary that they are aligned one behind the other and with at least 6 participants (it can be done with 4 but it is more fun if there are more). The exercise consists of installing us on the aerial yoga swing and grabbing the opposite partner by the feet, with the hip resting on the swing and trying to keep the suspended body aligned. The practitioner in front of him grabs hold of the lower stirrups of the swing. When all the students are already holding each other and stabilized in the posture, the teacher will pull forward of the companion who is at the head, causing in the group a very fun pendular and group movement.
Try this exercise under the supervision of a certified AeroYoga® teacher and AeroPilates® International
