What is AeroYoga® Kids? 

AeroYoga Kids is an organic method of comprehensive wellness for children's development and entertainment. Inspired by the tradition of universal yoga and AeroYoga®, Aero Yoga Kids is based on the playful aspect, mindfulness and postural awareness of students.


We have been preparing this method for 4 years, combining aerial yoga, theatrical play and storytelling, creating a powerful tool for working with children.

What benefits does the practice of AeroYoga® Kids have in children?

We have discovered through the practice of the AeroYoga® method with children that work in suspension calms their mind and restlessness and allows them to enter a state of mindfulness more quickly. This favors the practice of psychomotor exercises that benefit their physical development and mental, favors neural connections, emotional balance and combats attention deficit.

What is aeroyoga?

Contraindications of Aerial Pilates

Most people are able to practice Pilates Aerial (AeroPilates®). Most of the exercises can be performed worldwide except for people with some type of physical limitation, bone fracture or specific pathologies, but there are some contraindications to take into account for the most advanced level where we perform the inverted postures.

At the AeroPilates® Institute we have developed the AeroPilates® method under the supervision of medical specialists in sports medicine.

These would be the main contraindications according to Dr. Tapia in particular for the AeroPilates® method.


· Unmedicated hypertension (there is a risk of thrombosis)

· Women with endometriosis (always avoid inversion)
· Retinal detachment (who should only perform exercises at ground level)
· Heart problems (Avoid all inversion)
· People who suffer easily dizziness
· People with pacemakers, arrhythmias ...
·Otitis, sinusitis and conjunctivitis
· Glaucoma (Avoid inversion pose)
· People with very deep varicose veins

· Cancer, lymphomas, in radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment: It will be the specialist who will decide whether or not to practice it
· During menstruation it is advisable not to make inversions
· People with more than eight diopters of myopia
·Hyperthyroidism
· Pregnant women: During the first trimester they should strictly follow the doctor's instructions and reduce physical activity as a precaution.
