Himalayan Meditation Exercise anti stress with AeroYoga ® International.

aero yoga us
Hello AeroYoga® International friends, I´m Rafael Martínez, creator of the AeroYoga® method.
We are going through a global health crisis which directly affects our stress levels.
According to experts this can affect our health, lower our defenses and make us more vulnerable to opportunistic diseases, in addition to what stress can affect our quality of life.
Today I propose you a meditation of our own creation, designed for the AeroYoga® method, called Himalayan meditation, where we convert our body into a great landscape through which we will travel and generate energy, in addition to serving for the alignment of the chakras, helping to generate well-being and health.

Look at the video here https://youtu.be/ORwKawneXo0

Let us begin!
To start we will sit on the swing with our backs straight, using the swing itself as a back support. We can also use a position lying on the swing, or lying on the floor with only the feet and legs in the yoga hammock, (see photos with different positions).

Exercise
1- We travel our body from the feet to the head, relaxing the body zone by zone, for example: We relax the feet and legs, we relax the hips, we relax hands arms and shoulders, we relax belly and chest, we relax neck and face ...

We repeat this circuit at least three times to achieve a renewed awareness of our body at an integral level, which will help make the meditative journey more profound, pleasant and effective.

2-Now imagine that our body is the great landscape of the Himalayas. The upper part of the body will be the highest peaks, covered in perpetual snow, The crown will be the highest peak, Everest.
The shoulders the other somewhat lower peaks.

Spinal column:
We feel that the snow is melting and are heading towards the channel of the Ganges river, represented by our spine.

The spinal cord will be the channel of the river, which will fill with energy from the highest peaks represented by the crown and shoulders ... The internal organs also provide energy to the main channel in the column. The lungs, heart, liver, spleen, intestines ... provide energy to the main channel represented by the spinal column and spinal cord.

All this energy widens the channel, the spinal column becomes thicker, until we reach the sacral bone that represents the delta of the Ganges river, where the river discharges its waters and energy into the sea.

We perceive all that energy invading the sacrum bone and later discharging into the sea, the Indian Ocean, represented by the hips, which receive all the energy that came down from the highest, in the tops of the Himalayas.

Conclusion
This exercise connects our upper chakra located at the crown, with our lower chakra located in the perineum. With this connection we also align, at the same time, the rest of the chakras along the spine.

Beyond the mystical aspect of the alignment of the chakras, feeling our body at a deep level as a living landscape that generates energy, and learning to manage that energy, allows us to feel more self-control, with less stress, more focused and relaxed.

Happy journey!.
