One of the most interesting studies of recent years, conducted by Yale University in the United States, revealed that meditation calms brain activity. In fact, meditation decreases our brain's tendency to wander from thought to thought and, therefore, generate stress. 

As a result of the practice of meditation the person feels less stressed and calmer daily.



2-Meditation improves memory and concentration.
Mindfulness meditation has been practiced by Buddhists for hundreds of years.
The mind is a muscle and as for any muscle, it is important to train it daily.


3-Reduce stress and depression.

Mindfulness meditation helps to reduce the symptoms of stress. It improves, among other things, the secretion of cortisol, also called "stress hormone". 
Used in therapy with people with depression, meditation also reduces the risk of recurrent depressive episodes.

4-Good for the heart.
Physiological effect: decrease in heart rate.
Respiratory effects: decrease in respiratory rate and oxygen requirements.

5-Meditation improves creativity.
Meditation encourages divergent thinking (that is, proposes as many possible solutions to a problem), a key component of creativity.
Therefore, it would induce an "improvised way of thinking" that would allow many new ideas to emerge.
